"Founders and entrepreneurs are built differently; you need a team that understands that and takes your unique makeup and lifestyle into account if they're going to help you achieve optimal mental and physical health."
— Vanessa Gray, Founder and CEOFounders and entrepreneurs who've already earned real success come to Vanessa precisely because that success can leave the people around them with blind spots. She's built her therapy practice around direct answers and real results, not endless process. Vanessa has built her personal development business in direct response to founder clients who wanted to keep working with her well past their original clinical goals, as a trusted advisor and confidant. Once a best kept secret, Vanessa has earned a stellar reputation with a discerning group of founders and entrepreneurs in Florida, New York, and California. Her work sharpens the drive that got them here — it doesn't dull it.
Vanessa Gray is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Master's-level Certified Addiction Professional who has spent over a decade working specifically with founders and entrepreneurs. She began her career in crisis stabilization, where she developed diagnostic instincts that later shaped her focus on undiagnosed mental health conditions in high functioning individuals. Vanessa also treated anxiety, addiction, trauma, and unhealthy relationships on an interdisciplinary team at some of Palm Beach County's top behavioral health centers, before building a private practice around the specific challenges of entrepreneurship. Founders and entrepreneurs face a fundamentally different set of pressures than even senior executives at large companies — a difference she understands and her clients recognize immediately, allowing her to offer a level of insight no generalist business coach can match.
Before her clinical career, Vanessa spent years as a business-to-business sales executive calling on founders and C-level clients, and later ran her own business. That firsthand experience in the rooms her clients occupy — not just clinical training — is what sets her apart from other therapists.
The same qualities that make a critical care physician indispensable in the ICU — split-second judgment under pressure, command of complex systems, and zero tolerance for error — are exactly what high-performing founders and executives need from a medical director.
Dr. Ratzlaff also brings a core philosophical and hands-on perspective to integrative and longevity medicine. He views the body as an interconnected, self-healing unit, which adds an additional advantage in addressing whole-person health and aging.
Dr. Ratzlaff currently serves as Regional Medical Director for the East Florida and TriStar divisions of Intensive Care Consortium within a large hospital system, overseeing clinical and strategic operations across 15 hospitals, 450 ICU beds, and a team of 120 critical care providers — a scope of responsibility that mirrors the operational complexity his clients manage every day.
His training includes a fellowship in critical care medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, and a residency in anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic, where he also served as assistant medical director for cardiothoracic intensive care.
Dr. Ratzlaff has led initiatives across both military and civilian healthcare settings, holding significant roles at Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, and serving as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force — experience that shapes a leadership approach balancing discipline, adaptability, and innovation. His work has earned him recognition as a top physician in the region.
Dr. Ratzlaff is also a committed advocate of physical fitness and mental wellness in his own life — the same integrated approach to health that he brings to his work with the practice's clients.
